Still struggling to get through this book. There is a lack of depth in the writing (I.e. world building, history, varying descriptive details, key backgrounds and family histories). I feel like it’s a book summary that’s been stretched for 461 pages, but I will finish it.

Struggling with the development of this book and writing style. It feels rushed and there’s not much world building or description. It’s like we just jump right into dialogue and the nitty gritty with barely any buildup. (Currently at page 82). I feel almost like there was a book before this one that I should have read but there isn’t.
