Chapter by chapter now, the 108 heroes are dying off, and I find it affecting, even though I don't like them. Had I been attached to the characters, these sections would probably have upset me greatly.

For me, chapter 110 is one of the best thus far in the long tale (which is mostly not to my taste). I would go so far as to say that I liked parts of it.
