Finished Call of the Wild. I didn't realize how much longer White Fang is. There are some heartbreaking things to the Yukon and that way of life. Especially lived by those who can't tell their stories. By Buck.

I would stop more often with quotes from this book. But it seems that every other paragraph there is just such a lovely description or turn of phrase. The subject matter is harsh, and often bloody and unfair, but real. Yukon. Wild.

I have three books from Jack London I wish to read. These are two. I got the copy in Skagway, Alaska as well! Onward!
