this book is kind of weird in that it both has valuable information in it but also highkey endorses shitty behavior from parents about their trans children. it assumes many parents are coming from a place of disdain and dislike for trans people and often will tell parents to try and act neutrally instead of negatively, which i suppose is something but is also kind of nothing at all.
