I'm throwing in the towel on this one. I should have listened to what the cover was telling me (that these stories were not going to be my vibe) and purchased Under a Pale Sky Instead. Well, between my reaction to this and my reaction to Behold the Void, it certainly shows Fracassi has range 😂!

My Father's Ashes - 3.5⭐

This collection has a very different tone from Behold the Void; more straightforward Twilight-zonish stories (and scifi), less beautiful, dark imagery. I'm a bit bummed, tbh.
