Status Updates From Ballad of Sword and Wine: Q...

Chapters 90 through 97 have left me emotionally devastated and drained. I can't believe the way things escalated... over fucking NOTHING! This book is trying to kill me. 😢😭💔

This volume is so intense! I definitely didn't see this level of chaos coming and hitting everyone so ruthlessly like this.

On a serious note, it's reading books like this that makes one appreciate how removing imperial & aristocratic systems has made the world better for more people. If it was up to them, anyone not 'noble' would be begging for scraps and perpetually bound to suffer for generations smh

Love how the plot is progressing but I'm wondering abt Xue Xiuzhuo's carelessness, even if he believes and has the upper hand, having his students in front of Xiuyi seems like a mistake, they're obv not allies and it seems obvious that things can spiral from there, the wrong words in the wrong ppls ear can go a long way. But then again maybe he did it on purpose! there's definitely more scheming to come on both parts

"There is nothing about me that is superior to Dage. If I had to choose something, it would be the good luck of inheriting a fine physique from our father.” Xiao Chiye gripped Shen Zechuan’s fingers tightly. “Before, I never really understood why he got teary looking at my sister-in-law. But now, I do."
ME CAGO, XIAO CHIYE ES LA PERSONA MÁS ROMÁNTICA DE ESTE MUNDO, BASTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

“I’ll leave my back to you, and you’ll leave your chest to me. We cannot do without each other. I’ll choose the best horse in Libei for you. We’ll build a house on the demarcation line between Zhongbo and Libei and meet there—every month. If you want to marry me, two million silver isn’t enough; I want Lanzhou’s priceless smile, far dearer than a thousand gold.” QUE ME DA ALGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

😭😭😭😭😭😭
