Love how the plot is progressing but I'm wondering abt Xue Xiuzhuo's carelessness, even if he believes and has the upper hand, having his students in front of Xiuyi seems like a mistake, they're obv not allies and it seems obvious that things can spiral from there, the wrong words in the wrong ppls ear can go a long way. But then again maybe he did it on purpose! there's definitely more scheming to come on both parts
