Still trying to get into this story but feeling like there’s something I’m missing that keeps me super invested. It’s spicier than expected but story wise I’m hoping the plot arc gets intense soon.

Dimitri is now having a flashback. Gah!! I don’t care.

They’ve had public sex twice. But have only spoken maybe 10 words! The dialogue isn’t so good. So MUCH backstory explaining. Not really much action moving forward.

Chapter 7 is Andrea pov - Dimitri’s brother. Why?? So incredibly jarring. It was pretty much all background explaining.
And so far, the 2 main characters haven’t really interacted!

Just realised this is going to be a Romeo & Juliet retelling.

Okay, so this is an accidental pregnancy book, right? I have to assume that after that scene because WHAT??

This is a good time read. A dangerous, sexy, forbidden love story. We find our main characters challenged by guilt/shame of being from enemy territory but also aware of their undeniable attraction and passion for each other.

The narrators did a wonderful job bringing this story to life. It’s a fun read that felt like role play -

So easy to start and not want to put down until the end.
