Umm idk how i feel. Going to finish it to give it a chance but im not sure if its too many characters for the author but i cant connect with them. Idk its hard to distinguish between each character the fmc wasn’t sheltered but she seems so immature and babyish its a struggle idk but I’ll finish time book to give it a fighting chance

I decided to take a break/DNF/FinishOneDay. I want to feel mindfucked by the books I read not be able to fall asleep while reading them when I haven’t even spent the entire day and night reading non stop bc it’s THAT good. Interested in the true backstory we get glimpses of, but I need something darker with more spice and a more on-the-edge storyline. Too cutesy for my current mindset. Shame, it’s nearly over..

Very cutesy, not spicy yet. FMC is very timid and innocent, so at this point I don’t have high expectations for any good spicy scenes. Not much in the adventure department either. Interesting politics, and cool magic. Not necessarily very unique. So far I would recommend this to people who like cute vanilla romance over passionate spicy romance in their fantasy books.
