Status Updates From Nothing Between Us (Loving ...

Here's where I was Wednesday night before I went to a concert and finished yesterday. I skimmed the novella, which I was back and forth on reading since I did read Caught Up in You, but felt fine with ending at the main book.

As we’re winding down, I did catch Philip will be appearing in the flesh by next chapter, which makes the threat of him in Georgia’s life more visible compared to Loren’s other books I’ve read.

Getting to see both Georgia and Keats emotionally vulnerable brought out new sides to them that helped their characters grow. This book has also had Loren’s best sex scenes; seventeen year old me is happy that Colby and Keats are interacting more sexually vs. Ren and Hayes.

I have about 70 pages left of the main story, so I should be wrapping this up by the end of the week.

After yard clean up, the plot’s picking up! Nothing like Roni Loren to allow her characters complete transparency.

Loren's writing has been very clunky this go around, so TBD on whether I read the full thing. A part of my brain is, again, finding the dynamic between the men more interesting, but I'm queer, so not surprising. I'll at least read the scene between the men if I skim...
