I appreciate the effort of trying to make a unique kind of love story, but this is somehow like the typical romance novels I've read. The girl and guy meet, and then they both feel a special kind of connection. I guess it's because, as usual, the guy is over-the-top hot, the girl is goddess-like. In short, physical attraction or lust at first sight.
