Reading this almost 10 years after the release, I was surprised by many things in the book. First was how unlikable one of the MC was. Then a sexist dialogue, a slut-shaming remark, the almost sexual harassment behavior by one of the female partner (although I could give a pass on this one considering how close they were). The super unprofessional behavior by the unlikable MC. I am not sure if I can power through.

// This author is pissing me off with her blatant laziness here … The typos are absolutely ridiculous and smacks of absolute laziness!! I’m really fucking pissed!

// Looking back on this now, considering the fact that this author revamped this book - I have the new edition - I’m pretty fucking annoyed to see that there are some parts where the grammar is absolutely shitty, and the formatting is lazy as fuck! This author should done much better! You went out of your way to create a new edition, so author, go out of the fucking way to put out an excellent product!!

// What is this author doing?!? Scott and Will, the two MCs, are so completely interchangeable in their personalities, it takes me a minute to realize who is who, because they sound exactly the same, down to their speech patterns and internal monologues!! I’m irritated!!

// One more thing, being an ally does not give you the right to joke about someone’s sexuality! I wouldn’t expect any of the people I know to joke about my heterosexuality, and I’m not going to poke fun at somebody else’s orientation simply because I am an ally!! Being an ally means being an ally! Also, authors, for fuck’s sake, stop saying preference, it’s not a preference, it’s an orientation!!!
