First spicy scene…it was good but still the lingering bad taste in my mouth from the first 77%.

OK, so no I don’t like this book. Because the first 75% of the book is her resisting her urges because she wants to be independent and not controlled by man (which was annoying for sure and very unsexy.) but then the first spicy scene finally comes and even though he’s been trying to convince her to “let him take care of her” the first thing he wants her to do is drop to her knees….🙄

OK, so not just over explanation of backstory, but we’re using too many words to say the same thing just to make the book longer I guess? Not necessary.

I think my problem is there’s so much backstory that we really don’t need…

😩 I’m struggling the conflict just isn’t doing it for me…the girl wants something….why are we struggling to do it for her?
