This is the second 'my parents were abusive and left when I was 10' book I've read in two weeks. I must be dispassionate AF, bc when people show me that they don't care about me, I cut the cord. I'm not saying it doesn't hurt anymore, but I don't give those people my time. I am, however, triggered by MCs who allow that abuse to define their entire lives. Your dad was a POS, but that doesn't say anything about you!

Oh shit, I did NOT expect Aaron to pull out the 'i pay for everything, princess' card. This is real fighting. I expect this from a Scarlett Drake book, but I really didn't see it coming this time. Aaron was so sweet and caring, but I understand that people lash out when they're backed in a corner. Fucking cartoon covers get me every time
