Not loving this book. At all. As I’m reading this, sentences do not flow. There are awkward, choppy spots. I understand that adults feel the need to write books for all types of children, but the literary quality should always come first.
There are many times throughout the story where the sentence seems fractured and I’m forced to stop and reread. This doesn’t make reading fun and engaging.
