really like how the stuff with the newspaper remains relevant today. liked the continued world building in chapter 8, did get a tad lost in chapter 9 but it’s fine!

okay i really like the dynamic growing, even if that tea party bit was a bit much. bold’s choice between love and virtue, but is it really worth all of it, especially considering how good harding seems to be? do the old men need that £100 as they are comfortable, but in principle they deserve it? just intriguing!

very nice opening chapters, introduces this new little town well and sets up the dilemma of the book easily, but i am somewhat nervous for how it’ll play out in the book as a whole… just have to wait and see!
