There are many ways that Bernice writes her story that brings my heart to its forefront. Stories or experiences mention often mirror some of mine, as a first born daughter. The generational trauma that women carry, then passed on through daughters, is fascinating. Bernice’s publishing of her experiences invites readers to expand their narrow scope of consciousness.
