Status Updates From See You At The Finish Line ...

This one intrigued me!!

I wanna start with the pivotal moment in their relationship: the accident. The time jump early on in the story was definitely an essential piece because I don’t think I would’ve been “okay” seeing Paige suffer twice. Definitely didn’t expect how smutty it got in the last 100 pages. Overall, this was a solid debut - the story unfolded nicely, and the ending was cherry on top.

At this point in the story, the protagonists are almost together, but not quiet there yet. Big improvements on their relationship now that they both have acknowledged their feelings for each other and all their past mistakes. However, I feel their chemistry was much better earlier in the story - it might be because the yearning was dragged out for so long that I don’t get giddy at small things that should.

This book is literally unputdownable. Everything about their relationship (if you can call it that) is so refreshing, and the YEARNING? I can’t. There’s so many moments where I’m internally screaming “JUST GET TOGETHER ALREADY!” But it’s such a nice build to whatever is coming up that I feel a tingly sensation across my body from the last chapter. LOVE. Also, we still hate Caleb, but we also hate Nate.

First of all, I am in love with this storyline. You don’t get to read much running romance out there. This is definitely a breath of fresh air. Really enjoying the dynamic between Adam and Paige - they fit each other very well. I’m surprised with how much I liked the pacing of the story during the race so I have to highlight, I did not expect that time jump; nor the disqualification. CALEB IS A RAT!!
