Getting interesting

End of Chapter 8–Scarlett’s POV so far. Scarlett is Death’s Maiden. Her mother was a renowned healer who was murdered. Scarlett blames the Prince of the Fire Court (Fae) for her death. She was trained under the tutelage of the Lord Assassin, though they are currently estranged. Nori (Death’s Shadow) is one of her two “sisters.” The other sister, Death Incarnate, has not been revealed yet.

She threw a dagger to his head, nice.
