Status Updates From Lady of Darkness

I love how things are developing. The “who is that woman” hasn’t gotten old yet which, thank god. I think it’s a props to the author, it isn’t heavy handed. Dorian and Scarlett have great chemistry. I was surprised by how smitten Callan was. And I really don’t love Nuri. Children are going missing, the “incident” from a year ago. Not to mention the fae. There’s still so much story to tap in to.

I didn’t expect Scarlett to be deaths maiden! And alluding to the third sister being dead! Sorin is the first mmc that I’ve enjoyed in a long time. The book gets tripped up sometimes trying to sound edgy, but overall the mood and writing is great. And she’s fully fae. Id guess her mom is the queen of the west. I feel like we haven’t started our “journey” yet, so I’m chomping at the bit for that.

Kinda predictable

Okayyy things are getting heated. She’s unknowingly reading a book in a different language. Her mother’s ring is a fae artifact. Ryker is a fae known as Sorin, and tied to the same court she blames for her mother’s death. I think a spell what put on her by the silver fae in her most recent dream. I’m wagering my guesses were pretty spot on :p
