I've been listening to the audio book for the prologue and first two chapters. I am done listening to that. The narrator makes the main character seem really unlikable so while I find the story interesting so far, I'm not digging any of the characters yet. I will just read the ebook instead.

What accent is this supposed to be? This narrator cannot do it. His other voices are great. But this one is so awkward. So very bad!

It's weird that he feels like he might be betraying his dead BROTHER by taking a lover. Survivor's guilt, sure. But about taking a lover? So weird.
