I don’t usually make comments mid-story, but is it just me or has Helen gotten the RAWEST FUCKING DEAL out of any side character in any book ever??? Like she was the absolute nicest friend/roomie and has been kidnapped and held in captivity, tortured, and abused for 3 goddamn books and nearly an entire calendar year now.
