Slightly less traumatizing than when I was 5 and my teacher sowed the class Watership Down the movie.

Notes:
(1) What I like most about this is the character development. That and how layers of the onion get peeled away such that characters aren't who you thought they were.
- We start with what seems like an archetypical nuclear family. But then Patch turns from heroic to cruel and Elsie's secret shame gets revealed.
- By the end, the family seems anything but archetypical.

Notes:
(1) This series really seems to benefit from binge-reading.
- A lot of that's because this has been mostly chase scenes so far, and momentum just carries from one issue to the next.
(2) This is a different type of horror than "Stray Dogs," and not just because it's about zombies instead of serial killers.
- It's far less psychological and more reliant on jump scares.

Notes:
(1) So, I'm a bit late in getting to this. I usually hold back reading collected trades until close to the next run of singles. I use it as a kind of refresher.
- The problem is I was never in the mood to start the subsequent single issues, and so, before I knew it, Vol. 2 was released.
- At that point, I may as well not bother with singles and just read both trades.
