Status Updates From De kille nachten van de jeu...

I walk along the beach. The sea water is clean. White foam spreading over the sand. (..) My thoughts are clear. I open myself to the fullness of life. Some days there are floods of rain. Floods of Aegean rain that still take me by surprise. I'm sitting in the restaurant reading.

I'm on medication. I'm put to sleep. My friends come to see me. Some bring me flowers. Some bring me fruit. They go back to city life. Leaving me to never-ending solitude. Nights come early to this hospital. But they don't know how to end. Dawn never comes.
