it’s so hard to dictate what part of the chapter “The Picture of Ophelia’s Corpse” is the letter written to Fern (who doesn’t exist?), or the narrator. 😭

I finished the first short story—honestly, the writing is abhorrent. there’s great concepts, and there are lines that are pretty good, but the writing style is all over the place.

this is one of the most horrendously written books i’ve ever come across, so i hope the storyline makes up for it

The last one was very different from the Others. They all had horror elements and metaphors or in some cases straight talking about human behaviour or society. This one felt like a break up/love letter. It didn’t feel like it belonged here. But I guess I Loved it because of that. This book didn’t really talk about love but this one was full of it. I really enjoyed this. I enjoyed the whole book. Loved it.

This was a direct stab to my heart. The need for acknoledgenement is very familiar to me. The feeling of invisibility as well. It’s too much like me. I can’t even talk about this. I love it too much. Might be my favourite

This made me think a lot. I do agree with pretty much everything she says here. But I don’t think death is always unhappy. Me personally am quite alright and in terms with the idea of my death. But humans making ourselves to be objects to be perceived is very true in my opinion. Sad but true. I liked this one a lot

I don’t really Enjoy the cannibalism in this book. I can endure all types of gore except for cannibalism it seems. But at least she seemed to realise her mistake in the end. I liked how the souls of the Women she ate started to live inside. I am convinced that Katie the writer is a mad genius. This book should get more recognition. It has a captivating essence.

This was very short. I didn’t Enjoy it as much. Out of the ways to die that she listed I would propably prefer fire. Making art with your death sounds mad but also admirable. There’s really not much I can say here. It was alright. Very odd.
