Comparisons of Migali and Nora’s artwork juxtaposed in Thibaults mind is so interesting. Using these women as a distraction from his own thoughts and reading into their artwork to try and better understand his relationship to them. He cant look at himself in a vacuum, its too difficult for him so he projects it on, and out onto these women.

Comparisons to rodents and parasites. Depression and mania flips and switches feel very grounded in the cause and effect of Thibault’s current mental state as the hours pass.

Exploring existentialism and regret through hazy memories and what-if spirals to distract himself from the results of his rejection sensitivity. I loved the cat and mouse metaphor throughout the yellow chapter and his being “trapped” within his own home vis not wanting to face people who could help him.

A very compelling insight to a mind riddled with executive dysfunction. Very relatable so far! The art is absolutely stunning, I love the washes of color and the dithering/textures used.
