Status Updates From The Library at Hellebore

I wish I was invested at all in this story. It's not bad and I always love Khaw's way of writing gore, but I'm also entirely detached from every character and event.

dude this has been such a ride. this book should be referenced in how to make your characters feel alive without being so long.

The plot of this book is truly held together with the most fraying string possible. Why is everyone surprised at the fact that one of them isn’t human when they all have literal world-ending powers and are barely human themselves? Not a lot in here really makes much sense.
