Status Updates From The Value of Vulnerability

I'm starting to hate this lopsided relationship. Erin has to report her every move but Ford doesn't divulge s***! She better nip that in the bud!

So now we're using GERMAN words? Verboten? Seriously? Is it THAT hard to just say forbidden? I had to waste time on the internet finding the word because it's not in the dictionary. I thought this was supposed to be a romance, not a college term paper! I'm so frustrated and I'm gonna read something else for a while.

Another romantic moment ruined by unnecessary words that seem plucked from a thesaurus! Who says sacrosanct when she's about to get it popping on the dining room table?! Give me a BREAK!

Re-jigging?

Well that just killed ANY type of fondness I may have held! Completely killed it!

I wish these acronyms were explained. I don't work in the business, IT world so I'm not familiar with the terminology.

Despite my griping, I do like the story. Erin and Ford are interesting to me and I'm interested to see how things will turn out between them.

. . . in black kid? What does that mean in relation to gloves? I don't get it.

What in the world is verklempt?! See, this is what I'm talking about!

I really do like the story. I just wish there wasn't such unnecessary and over usage of words. That really is killing a perfectly good story.

I'm enjoying the characters but the odd and excessive word usage is taking away from the story. Sometimes less really is more.

This book is interesting but definitely wordy . . . a bit of a turn off, honestly.
