Status Updates From Yield Under Great Persuasion

I was so confused in the middle of chapter 9, and just kept thinking "this part is freaking weird, what is going on?" And then suddenly I'm on the last paragraph of the chapter and with one sentence everything clicks in and I'm crying???? I love books, man.

I really doubted this book the first couple chapters but...it gets so good. It's so kind and strong.

I already giggled so much with the first chapter—give me more!

This book is definitely reading fan fiction-y as in there’s a lot of explaining what’s going on instead of showing. But I’m not complaining. Gag it!

worst part abt identifying with a characrer who's made his bed of misery and complains while lying in it (hes SO me hes SOOOOOO me) is that when people reason with him about his misery i have to ALSO internalize it like noooo you cant get me!!!!! im not going to listen!!! but UGH tamerlin becket i would love if you and i could hate ourselves and deny ourselves pleasure and joy until we die arm in arm!!!!

i KNOWWWW im not well adjusted enough to be in a relationship because im soooo vindictive and a stubborn brat im 100% on tam's side idc that he was mean to lyford for so long idc that lyford never deserved it im a tam supporter till i die and i hope lyford stays miserable and never gets tam despite how clearly in love he is w him. i loveeeeee situations like this bc i never want them to get together
