I really want to like this more but the FMC is infuriating me and I’m also unsure of the era we’re in because the dialogue is kind of modern but at times not?

Im also getting nothing from the relationship or found family that’s meant to be forming but I think it’s because our FMC is feeling very self absorbed to me at the moment.

It’s also a very slow first book.

I’m super intrigued and hoping my instincts are right about maybeeee getting one of my fave tropes 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️😏

Hey wait, the summary lied. The fmc was supposed to have no mark to tell her the destiny, but now it turns out that she has like 7 marks but not in the places they should be? And despite being desperate to have a destiny, she hasn't even bothered to learn what some of her marks mean or if they are in the right place? That's convenient... for the plot.

Wait, there are literally only 17 people on this village?
