this is the third time reading little cabbage i’m going to scream if i read that one more time

i’m confused and it feels like the author is trying to make good quotes out her writing and it’s not working

Okay one of my friends who I really trust the reading taste of says her gripe with this book has a lot to do with the modern writing style for a sapphic retelling of Dracula but I am low-key liking this especially because I am also reading Dracula the og text😂

This book is promising lol, also this is my 2nd sapphic book & I love how they describe eachother in the genre lol cause a lot of these straight romances always are so basic & vague with their interpretations of eachother like it’s always “his muscles are bulging” or “her smile makes me weak”. Like it’s always just so much more detailed & intentional almost poetic
