WTF kind of ending was that!?!

It's rather peculiar how Ia keeps referring to this one Private as a transgendered Women. Once was enough (I guess necessary to give us some character detail?) Beyond that it's just a weird 'descriptive'. Like saying 'the female comedian' as opposed to just 'the comedian'.
It's awesome that there is a mix of individuals (hard to miss with aliens being involved) it just doesn't need stating repeatedly.

Ugh. So many mixed metaphors. Stooooooop.

It might have been the late night, but that was the most confusing explanation for something that didn't need to be that complicated.
Why does Johnson need to write in such chaotic way when it comes to her 'big ideas'. She's clearly smart, all these metaphors and round about explanations are beyond unnecessary.
Lose the chip on the shoulder & these books could easily gain a star.

Is the sci-fi bug going around?
I feel like I'm noticing a larger amount of ppl reading sci-fi atm or is it just me & the ppl I'm following?

I've been binge watching Stargate Atlantis as well - some parts of it are weirdly similar to this series. But that might be my sick induced brain. Plus how different can you get multiple worlds & beings trying to eat you? Least Stargate ones do it without munching.
