Status Updates From Comes the Night

I officially give up at 50%, finding this book too much of a trudge. It’s probably just that I’m in the wrong mood for it

I just think this sort of exposition is clunky world building:
“You may or may not know that originally, she lived on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria before her cottage and the road were submerged by rising tides resulting from climate change. It was after this that she came to Canberra.”

Still struggling to get into this book, somehow
