everyone say it with me now: if you're going to make your character permanently disabled then COMMIT TO IT. "look at all the ways her body is scarred and broken!" THEN WHY DOESN'T SHE EVER DEAL WITH CHRONIC PAIN?! WHY IS SHE ABLE TO FULLY FUNCTION?! GIVE ME A BREAK!!! don't give your character a disability if you're not going to commit to them being DISABLED!
