I'm really missing the weird fiction/horror stories that made up the first portion of the book. I'm on "The Street of the First Shell" now, and MAN it's starting to drag. I really enjoyed "The Prophets' Paradise", so I'm not averse to the very idea of R.W. Chambers' non-horror writing, but I'm just not quite as captivated as I was with the earlier stories of the book.
