Status Updates From A Short Introduction to Ann...

I’ve never been so stuck on something that I find completely brilliant. Walls and walls of text. While I have the book open, I want to speak it out loud to anyone who will listen. When I see it on my stand I avoid it like someone I recognize from high school and switch aisles at the grocery store. Anneliese my dear you are in fact incredibly voluble and use up all the oxygen, and I love you.

I hear her unhappy voice in these pages, but I can no longer care what happened to her. The past steps carefully backward until it is out of sight. Music is what remains. It sings, it whispers, sometimes it pummels in my ears. I am adding these notes in order to reimagine the past I have forgotten, as music. And to ensure it remains only music. (503 (from the Notes))
