While the premise was fairly interesting, there were just too many issues with the writing and characters.

Overuse of the word sexism was a big issue and I didn’t particularly like the FMC. She came across bitchy and high maintenance if I’m being honest. Also, the fact that she can basically steal other people’s familiars put a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Lastly, there’s very little romance.

If I have to read the word "sexist" one more time 🙄 I highly doubt I'm going to be able to read the 3rd book at this rate.
