Status Updates From The Cursed Sea

I was SO excited for this read, but this was so disappointing. I gave it a chance, but it’s a DNF.

This was so hard to get through and I feel like I’m reading just to avoid DNF-ing instead actually enjoying the read. There’s so much repetitive language/word reuse, no context to why things are happening, unexciting characters, dull dialogue, and not enough intrigue, to name a few concerns. Review to come…

Not sure how I’m feeling about this one just yet. So far, there’s quite a lot of repetitive language and phrasing (and fairly close together at that), and I’m still not sure why some events are occurring or what has lead up to the circumstances. But there’s lots of potential, so we’ll see…
