To start with Krista seemed sweet and insecure. But as time went on there has been no character development and Krista just seems young and somewhat childish. I don't like it. the story is sweet but I don't think I like the book.

4-4 1/2 stars. Pretty cray, and I I k the h would annoy a lot of readers, but I still found it very entertaining. Nothing got drawn out too much--which was good in this case. Cute couple together. Will read next book

Okay....what kind of cop stops to help a woman on the side of the road, calls her baby, kisses her on the forehead, takes her home and sits down with her on his lap? All this within minutes of meeting her? Insta-love......

Gotta give props where due. The dancing in the rain in the mall parking lot scene was pretty sweet.

She eavesdrop, assumes he means her and runs away? I could tell he was talking about the horse and she should have been able to as well. Made has never called her a filly. Duh.

I got here as fast I could.” “Wow.” That was all Krista could think of to say. “What?” He was confused. “You said all that without the use of even one curse word.”

That was a completely uncalled for d-bag move. Glad she told him not to come back.

Tempted to DNF. The "conversations" they have are juvenile and repetitive.

This is one of the strangest stories I have read. What cop would call a stranger sweetheart and baby and kiss her on the forehead within minutes of meeting her on the side of the road?
