This Scottish accent in writing is killing me

I’m going to be honest here and say 90% of the reason I chose this book is the cover. Yes covers play a large role in getting my attention. (Take that cartoon covers. I will never choose you based on the outside). The other 10% is it’s a medieval and back in my earlier romance reading days, they were my favourite genre followed by historical westerns.
Early in still but enjoying this one.
