Status Updates From The V Unit

I can't get into this.. I'll probably end up dropping it..

A first time read for this author.. and Loving this so far..

Did not finish and returned the book.

The covert operation by the V Unit is the story here. It's full of suspense and very interesting. There is a developing relationship amongst all the action between Sarge, the unit leader, and Bronson, a well known war correspondent. The pages light up when the huge hairy vamp hooks up with the tatted up reporter.

Well I can honestly say from years and years of reading vampire stories, MF, MM whatever, I have never EVER read a story with vampires quite like these. Refreshingly far out. Oh, it's also a blast to read about hot men that treat sex like masturbation. Gotta itch? Scratch it. Right here, right now. Hairy vamps rock!

Not digging the racism or the random group sex cuz they're MEN and MARINES, and everyone knows MANLY MARINES HAVE SEX WITH NO REGARD TO ANYONE AROUND CUZ HORNY!

Damn! Grammar folks!!!! "Sarge watched fascinated at his men..." Ugh!!!!! Sadly another waste of money, I'm afraid. I began reading this yesterday morning and yet I'm only now at 15%. This thing just can't grab my attention. Too much flowery description of minor things and bad grammar.

"It would not be long before they arose, ready for the night."..... Give me a break! This from a southern born American Marine?!?!! It'd be more realistic and believable saying 'It wouldn't be long before they woke up raring to go.' Or something else along those lines.

*sigh* sigh* sadly once again a book set in America using non-American grammar. *sigh* We call them restaurants NOT eateries!!!! And we say " I haven't" NOT "I've not"!!!!

Uh-oh.... Talk of a perky blondes moist panties in the first paragraph.... So Not What I expect or want in my m/m books!!!

Vamps are dead creatures, right?! They shouldn't have hearts, right?! Okay. Here they probably have. At least during sex.

Okay! I always believed that vampire Man on Man was sexy! I was right to believe so.

I'll stop reading for now because I'm sick & need sleep. But it's okayish for now. & I've read only two chapters! If it turns out to be a threesome I'll give it 4 stars on the spot! :D
