Notes:
(1) So, this is clearly the least of the volumes so far. Not bad, just not close to where the bar's been set.
- Really, I wouldn't even consider this a horror story until the last two issues where it settled into the hillbilly horror genre.
(2) Can cats kiss or make out? Because that happens a few times here.
- I thought this was a realistic take on anthropomorphism!

(1) Compared to before, this doesn't feel very urgent. Probably the lack of action and the fact it's been mostly daylight.
- "Stray Dogs" was also mostly daylight but that was a psychological thriller, this isn't.
(2) Male cats in this series seem to be turned to as de facto group leaders.
- The problem is they're always killed, turned zombie, or seem sketchy/smarmy.

(1) One of my goals is to cut down on the amount of single issues I read and review. I'm more than doubling my workload by giving the full treatment to both singles and trades when I could just "trade wait" and review the whole arc.
- This series didn't make the cut and so I've dropped it from my pull list.
- Still a favorite, just nothing I need to read immediately.
