Started off very simple and I thought I wouldn’t like it unless the plot picked up, but even though there still isn’t much overarching plot the book does a great job connecting readers to Ophelia

What a wonderful book! Historical fiction is not usually my cup of tea but I was absolutely enthralled by Antonio Michael Downing’s writing and by the story of Ophelia. There was so much heart (and heartache)- it was a heavy story that ended with hope. 10/10
