It also speaks of an inherent capitalist laziness and refusal to pay people what they're worth. And a lack of concern for the next generation.

It's naive to think our capitalist hellscape could EVER allow workers to "bring their whole selves" into the workplace, something I learn more and more each day.

But otherwise this book is good.

And she does have a point about the narrative of White majority, non-white minority narrative.

I do agree with the principle of "ask people how they prefer to talk about themselves". Too many privileged people do the exact opposite. Technically, if we really want to get technical, we ought to say White, cisgender, heterosexual, able-bodied, neurotypical, Christian men.

I would argue that Lady With the Locs's comeback is more reflective of her insecurity than anything. Especially since the writer is ALSO a Black woman, and is PRAISING Lady With the Locs's hairstyle.

The "debates" around "critical race theory" aren't debates; they're inane screeching from spoiled, whiny MAGA babies.
