In the fourth book, after 1677 pages, there's finally some smut. Praise Asmododeus. Don't tell me we don't work hard for a little spice. Also, there's a plot concerning Cormyr's royal line, Lady Shar and the whole debacle about being the chosen of the most horrible god of the underworld.

Farideh really is the main character for this book and I love it. You go, girl.

This started sooo slow. But it’s finally picking up its pace again. So far: Dahl has been a king, Brin has been dull and helpless, Havilar is (spoiler, iykyk) and Farideh is haunted. And Lorcan is following the rules of The Game (TM). 🤺
