Suffice to say this is a 'hate read' at this point.
Infamous 'birthday weekend' shows immature need for others to only exist to serve her plot, and follow-ups she seems to immune to feedback and empathy. A bunch of people spent thousands, took vacation, left kids behind and so on - all to try to make her feel special. But it wasn't enough.

Also - I won’t pretend to know what it is like as a woman out doing things by herself, but how many times can you have a ‘unique first time experience’ of doing something alone? I’ve read more than a half dozen so far. No sign of progress?

Typical chapter experience:
- As I drove I thought about how an ex lived along this road, and how I thought it meant … and how when we did … and then driving … (basically long story focused on ex)
- When I got to the rotary I realized I’d not given a thought as I was passing the ex’s house
WHAT?!?!
Sure there is good stuff in here, but whew this is .. something.

Two impressions so far:
- Retitle as ‘Year of Deflecting Accountability’. There’s difference between recognizing impact and blame shifting.
- Just like ‘meeting could have been an email’, ‘this book could have been an article’. Focused article would suffer less from tangents.
Can’t wait for the parts I know are coming (from TikTok last year)
