Somehow both NOT a page turner and one that keeps interest as the character development is so thorough. Makes it easy to have empathy of what the characters are facing. Such juxtapositions of emotions for everyone so far.

It had been okay. Mildly interesting. At 70%, it has taken a turn. We have switched to trite, soap opera melodrama, and little lists to remind us what was going on in the world that year. What? One character writes a letter to another character and it is absolutely terrible, as in something a fourteen year old would add here if they were the author. Now the big question...just finish the damn thing or DNF it?
