Human Person is 62% done

Why am I so deeply put off by POV changes? This has been told from Maël's perspective for 62% of the book and now it's changed. This is of course valid and in fact makes total sense in the context of the story. But despite the fact that I've enjoyed this book immensely so far, I'm not sure I can continue. Why am I like this? I don't want to be like this! Yet, I am hopelessly like this. Ugh.
