For black history month this year, I’ve decided to switch it up a bit and focus on supporting contemporary black authors! I’m sure I’ll read a bunch of classic and fiction stuff too, but I feel like a lot of the “recommended” lists are a bunch of memoirs and really depressing reads. At least, that’s a lot of what I’ve read the past couple Februarys!
