Status Updates From The Therans: Secrets Beneat...

Way too long, way too much information dumping. I don’t know the motives of anybody. What is the point of these libraries and why is everyone killing to try and find them I don’t understand. And don’t even get me started on the magical giant bluebird that just shows up at the end. What the heck does that even mean I don’t know. It was so good but we’ve lost the plot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Also, the book feels very stalled right now. I’m bored because nothing is happening and they keep saying we’ll talk later and they never talk later. I just want them to have a conversation more than the two minutes they usually have. Also, it’s getting kind of boring because nothing is happening.

Overall, it’s definitely better. I’m just confused. We had a lot of information dump. That did not clear up anything. They’re just protectors of libraries. I don’t understand why murder is being involved right now. Also, why are there three groups? And why does she always go Mr. Taylor just Taylor in her head. It’s not even his first name.

So I started this book yesterday and it’s very similar to last one and I’m enjoying it but like the last one it has the same problem of origin. Why do these people have magical powers to protect the libraries? I don’t understand. Like people are getting killed to find a secret library filled with tomes and books. Like they already have powers and influence what else do they need?

So far I’m really enjoying the book! There’s a lot of information being thrown at times, but it actually makes the book more interesting! I love all the history. The classics talk even makes me recall what I learned in uni. Me and the main character seem to be on the same page—no clue what’s going on—as mysterious things keeps happening. Also, Tesla, Cyndi’s dog, makes an appearance, and it’s too cute!
