Why did they have to spend a week apart from Ivy after figuring out she’s their mate? I don’t understand that… why didn’t she just stay at their little palace place? It makes no sense that they would make her return home, away from her alphas, while touch starved and medically unstable… all just to get things ready for them to move back home? I get that she hadn’t decided if she would go with them- still.

I can’t put this down. I love that she’s reacting in a realistic way to all this. She doesn’t immediately jump into Asher’s arms and trust him, she’s sad and hurt and confused. She’s scared of Dair and doesn’t understand him. She isn’t processing that this is real. She freaks when that post-nut clarity hits. Probably the most realistic surprise omega/mating reaction I’ve read yet.

I didn’t anticipate the queen and king immediately accepting that their sons’ mate is a maid, not gonna lie.
